HOW TO FOLD A SAMOSA PASTRY

An easy guideline on how to fold a rectangle pastry into a triangle shape.

Ingredients
  • Rectangle Samosa Pastry
Step No 1

Take one pre-cut rectangle pastry sheet.

Lay it flat on a work surface.

Step No 2

Bring the tip of the lower right corner up 600 angle, placing it to create a fold at the tip of the left corner.

Step No 3

Then liberally spread flour paste under the folded section.

Step No 4

And all over the upper flap of the pastry.

Step No 5

Take the tip of the left corner up to the right.

Step No 6

Press the sides firmly.

Step No 7

Thus creating a pocket for the filling.

Step No 8

Spread more flour paste around the top flap.

Step No 9

Then fill the pocket with your choice of filling.

Step No 10

Squeeze the top of the pocket tight and wrap the top flap downwards to meet the bottom tip of the triangle.

Step No 11

Leaving the top flap slightly overlapping.

Step No 12

Finally tuck the overlap to seal the pocket.

The triangle shape is now complete and securely sealed.
