Mint & Coriander Chutney

Mint & coriander chutney is a lovely complement for any side dish. 

It can be served as a dipping sauce with various varieties of savoury dishes.

Ingredients
  • 100ml Lemon Juice
  • 200gm Mint
  • 200gm Coriander
  • 100ml Water
  • 40ml Honey or 25gm Sugar
  • 2-3 Whole Green Chilli
  • 1 large Cooking Apple
  • 20gm Salt
Step No 1

Peel, core and dice one cooking apple. 

Chop the coriander and green chillies.

Tip them in a blender.  Add honey, salt and lemon juice.

Step No 2

Blitz the ingredients in the blender with enough water to form a pourable sauce.

Step No 3

Transfer the chutney into a bowl. 

You could chill the sauce and consume within 5-6 days. 

Or, if you like double the quantity and freeze into individual portions.
