CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

I sincerely hope you share the same passion as I do!

There is something so special about sharing the kitchen with my great-niece, having lots of laughs and creating something delicious together.

I hope she grows to share the same passion for baking as I do.

There is nothing quite like passing on a love of baking to the next generation and enjoying the journey together.

Ingredients
  • 1 Packet of Betty Crocker Chocolate Chip Mix
  • 30-40ml Water
Step No 1

Open the Betty’s Mix Pack and pour the contents into a mixing bowl

Step No 2

Add 30 ml of water first and combine with the mix.

Step No 3

Then gradually add the remaining water (up to 40 ml) if needed.

Continue mixing until the dough is thick, soft and slightly sticky.

Step No 4

Scoop one teaspoon of dough for each cookie.

Step No 5

Drop the dough onto a lined baking tray.

Leave about 2″ between each spoonful of cookie dough so the cookies have enough room to spread while baking.

Step No 6

Bake the cookies in a preheated fan-assisted oven at 170°C for about 10-12 minutes.

Step No 7

Cook until the edges are lightly golden and the centres are still soft.

Step No 8

Allow the cookies to cool before eating.

When you break one in half, it should break cleanly without crumbling into lots of pieces.

Step No 9

Mmm, they look so yummy!!

My niece just cannot wait to taste them! 😋🍪

Step No 10

Stack and store the cooled cookies in an airtight container.
