Audrey Hepburn’s true beauty came from her compassion, her kindness, and her devotion to others, and while she might have been wearing Chanel and Dior, it was those qualities that made her truly beautiful.
…And that’s what inspired me to paint her.
As an amateur painter, painting Audrey in two tone was not so difficult, just had to concentrate on the angle of lines and the size of the shape.
This was painted during the first coronavirus lockdown as a form of therapy and inspiration.
